Busy Bee Academy's Philosophy
We believe that every child should have a safe place to go in which to develop, learn, and explore. We believe young people should be given a wide range of growth experiences, combined with many opportunities, enriching environments, and caring role models to bring out their full potential. The program uses guidance, play, and learning to help each child become caring and independent people.
Curriculum
Creative Curriculum is used to foster holistic development in children through a play-based, project-based approach that builds confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. It aligns with early learning standards, individualizes instruction to meet each child's needs, and is designed to be culturally and linguistically responsive.
Assessments
The Ages & Stages Questionnaires®, Third Edition (ASQ®-3) is a developmental screening tool that pinpoints developmental progress in children between the ages of one month to 5 ½ years. Its success lies in its parent-centric approach and inherent ease-of-use—a combination that has made it the most widely used developmental screener across the globe. Evidence shows that the earlier development is assessed—the greater the chance a child has to reach his or her potential.
